Blore Hall

Properties

Standing in three acres of walled grounds, the principal property comprises a large 14th Century red-brick house – which is thought to have been the original Great Hall of Blore Manor – and a range of outbuildings that is formed into a quadrangle.

A fine 14th Century barn fronts the property, facing the remains of the ancient moat (which is now a duck pond). The only other buildings in the hamlet of Blore are the Old Rectory, a gamekeeper’s cottage, and the 11th Century Blore Ray Church (which is mentioned in the Domesday Book). In all, there are 20 cottages and apartments of one-, two- and three-bedrooms, together with a clubhouse, games room, an indoor swimming pool, sauna and a tennis court. All properties have television and a DVD player. The three-bedroom property has a dishwasher.

A one-bedroom cottage has also been specially adapted for use by accompanied wheelchair holidaymakers.
